    ROLE SUMMARY AND DETAILS
    Success will depend upon the ability to develop strategy and insight to enable and maximize Brainpark’s sales efforts across geographies and segments. This position will be located in Bay Area, San Francisco

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    •    Develop strategies across a wide range of initiatives to enable optimization of sales
    •    Deliver supporting research and analysis, with actionable recommendations and a plan to execute
    •    Reach out to customers to introduce product and close sales
    •    Proactively manage a group of accounts
    •    Driving initiatives designed to add business value, disseminating best practices, fulfilling a trusted advisor role, evangelizing product capabilities and engaging professional services resources as necessary
    •    Ensure customers are using the application, are aware of and using new functionality as it’s introduced
    •    Provide advice on additional things customer could be doing to gain the most from our application
    •    Responsible for driving customer success and user adoption which will ultimately lead to subscription renewals
    •    Establish strong relationships with the internal departments; becoming an extension of their business
    •    Build and maintain relationships with departments including technology and executive team

    REQUIREMENTS
    •    A high degree of comfort working with a technology product
    •    Must demonstrate all the behaviours associated with a High Performance Sales Culture, specifically managing a pipeline of renewal opportunities and delivering results
    •    Compelling ability to communicate technical value propositions
    •    Collaborative nature to enable success of sales teams
    •    Aggressive and energetic about setting high goals and achieving them
    •    Strong business development and solution selling skills
    •    Possess insight into customers’ business needs in order to recommend increased value that they can tap into from related applications or uses
    •    Maintain frequent contact with the customers and serve as an escalation point for issues that impacts their success.
    •    Maintain strong working relationships with other customer facing personnel
    •    Work with customers to ensure they are leveraging the solution and achieving success
    •    Answer customer's questions and successfully negotiate issues related to renewal contracts and pricing
    •    Strong presentation skills and credibility with C-level executives
    •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    •    Experience in account management, sales or consulting
    •    World-class content creation and communication skills - speaking, writing and PowerPoint

    ROLE SUMMARY AND DETAILS
    Success will require compelling communications skills, significant technical strength, strong credibility with customers immersed in the world of technical applications, and most importantly entrepreneurial energy to have a direct and positive impact on Brainpark’s application sales efforts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    •    Gather the community through different forums to seek input for design and development of application
    •    Promote the use of the application through talks, articles, blogs, demonstrations, etc.
    •    Find ways to create a customer who is an evangelist for the application
    •    Look for ways to maximize the delivery of service to the customer
    •    Through speaking to the community, create new leads for sales team
    •    Work with other departments within the company to make decisions regarding the user experience, technology, functionality, etc. of the application
    •    Work with the company to aggressively grow the business
    •    Establish strong relationships within the company in order to become an extension of the business into the external world
    •    Act as subject matter expert and become the product’s internal and external evangelist.
    •    Conduct research/evaluation on new areas for expansion
    •    Act as part of the product design team, responsible for bringing back feedback and helping to develop strategy and insight to enable sales efforts across geographies and segments.
    •    Help sales team to close sales through strong customer facing skills

    Role Summary:

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for what they do, a strong attention to detail, the ability to produce high-quality work quickly, and a portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing and conceptualizing graphics for web sites and other digital media.

     

    Responsibilities:     

    • Work closely with design team members to realize the visual design of the product      
    • Work closely with a cross-functional team in the planning, design and implementation of effective user interfaces for existing and new projects       
    • Conceptualizing creative ideas, designs, and layouts       
    • Maintain UI specifications such as style guides and visual standards documents
    • Keep informed of accepted practices, new technologies and new tools for web site design
    • Bring creativity, innovation, and assertiveness to the table
    • Continually raise the bar on creative assignments, being open and able to act on constructive feedback
    • Solve problems to a degree where each design concept is not seen in isolation, but rather, seen as the ‘bigger picture' in a creative campaign     
    • Work to drive the business through clear and simple design that supports the unique and differentiated brand experience      
    • Convert creative strategy into compelling design

     


    Qualifications:   

    • Minimum 3-5 years graphic design experience        
    • Experience in application design, visual design, and/or website design is required            
    • Skilled in design and web enabling software – Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.           
    • Strong attention to detail         
    • Ability to manage and prioritize projects and meet deadlines        
    • Good understanding of browser and accessibility issues         
    • Well-organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously  
    • Good design sensibility   
    • Knowledge of user-experience design, user interface design, interaction design is an asset     
    • Portfolio showcasing your clean, simple, 'less-is-more' design aesthetic – we like white space       
    • Photo and Graphic optimization for the web        
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills         
    • Enjoy working in a team environment         
    • Good sense of humour – the goofier the better!

    ROLE SUMMARY AND DETAILS
    Project Administration and Coordination:

    • Responsible for general administration of the project
    • keeping project on track;
    • ensuring seamless communication among groups/teams;
    • general admin support to CTO, CEO and Development Lead
    • Work from home-based office with ability to travel to meetings as required (in Guelph and GTA)

    Type:

    • Contractor Position with hourly wage
    • Part-time to full-time position

    EXAMPLES OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with Development Lead and CEO to ensure milestones and dates are kept on track
    • Work alongside Development Lead and CEO to develop job descriptions; process and review resumes; manage and facilitate interview process 
    • Work alongside CEO, Development Lead, and CTO to develop processes that ensure efficiency and order 
    • Prepare and maintain project budget
    • Keep track of all the project’s material and financial resources 
    • Review, process and track invoices 
    • Prepare and submit required budget reports 
    • Contribute to project development, at the request of project lead
    • Plan and execute bi-weekly community events in Guelph area 
    • Maintain strong work relations with paid and volunteer staff, bringing them together under a common purpose
    • Ensure that staff are well informed and kept up to date on project purpose, status and details 
    • Assist in facilitating bi-weekly community events; ensuring all details are in place, taking notes 
    • Tracking and following up on team outcomes 
    • Administrate contract and invoice process; orientating new staff and volunteers  
    • Work closely with Financial controller and CEO to maintain budget processes and practices 
    • Scheduling and calendar management 
    • Research assignments, as required 
    • Coordinate and attend meetings; take minutes, ensure room set-up, equipment, food, etc 
    • Prepare documents & presentations
    • Administrative support as needed or required by team

    EDUCATION/TRAINING 

    • 3 years related experience 
    • 3+ years experience working as Project Coordinator/Administration 
    • 3+ years as Executive Assistant is a bonus 
    • Proficient with Google applications (google calendars, spreadsheets, docs) 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook 
    • Proficient with Word, Excel, Corel, and Powerpoint 
    • Experience with project management software (ie. Central Desktop, Basecamp)
